
THE DB12 REDEFINES THE GRAND TOURER SEGMENT WITH ITS 680PS 4.0-LITRE TWIN-TURBO V8 ENGINE, PRECISION-TUNED CHASSIS, AND NEXT-GENERATION INFOTAINMENT SYSTEM
28 March 2025, Stuttgart, Germany: Aston Martin is proud to announce that the DB12 has secured first place in the “Coupés” category at the MotorKlassik Awards 2024, winning with an impressive 41.3% of all reader votes. This prestigious accolade celebrates the DB12’s status as the world’s first ‘Super Tourer’, blending exhilarating 680PS performance, exquisite interior finishes and recognisable Aston Martin design beauty throughout.
Voted for by the passionate readers of MotorKlassik Germany, voting for this award was possible in MotorKlassik issues 1/2025 and 2/2025. A total of 17,224 readers participated in the selection process, choosing from twelve classic car categories and eight categories from the 2025 model year, where the DB12 was named a “Classic Car of the Future”.
The DB12 redefines the Grand Tourer segment with its 680PS 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, precision-tuned chassis, and next-generation infotainment system.

Beginning with the successful launch of the award-winning DB12 ‘Super Tourer’ in 2023, Aston Martin went on to comprehensively revolutionize its luxury car portfolio in 2024. Aston Martin introduced the 665PS new Vantage sports car, followed by the newly upgraded DBX707 high-performance SUV and subsequently, the V12 Vanquish flagship Grand Tourer. In 2025, the momentum has continued with the launch of new Vantage Roadster as well as the newly unveiled Vanquish Volante, the fastest and most powerful front-engine convertible in the world with a twin-turbo V12 5.2-liter engine delivering a top speed of 345 km/h and acceleration of 0-100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds.
