JULY 19, 2012.- MARÍA DE VILLOTA CONTINUES TO RECOVER AT THE ADDENBROOKE’S HOSPITAL IN CAMBRIDGE, WHERE HER INJURIES ARE RECEIVING EXHAUSTIVE TRAUMA- AND OPHTHALMOLOGY-BASED TREATMENT, AS WELL AS PLASTIC SURGERY.
Progress has been significant and positive, although it is not yet known when María will be released from hospital.
Maria has not yet been well enough to take part in any investigation into the incident. No comment will be made until the results of all formal investigations are available.
You will understand that at present, we are all completely and exclusively focused on facilitating and supporting María’s recovery and release.
